The East Metro Atlanta Christian Writers was organized to offer a network of prayer, encouragement, motivation, friendship and education to writers. We recognize that our talents are God given, God inspired, and God driven. We are thankful for every life experience and recognize that we have a responsibility to convey that there is true peace and hope in living a Godly life.

Whether you are a novice or an advanced writer, we welcome you with open arms. We offer free membership; access to the EMACW library, speakers and resources; spotlight on our website; and accountability partners to help you stay motivated in your writing ministry.

Some meetings are structured with guest speakers while other meetings are dedicated to giving members an opportunity to share their goals and successes. We sponsor annual trips and conferences.

Our members are published or seeking publication in areas of devotionals, poetry, sports, newspapers, magazines, family life, single parent, grief counseling, divorce care, science fiction, faith, humor, discipleship, children and teen books, caregivers – just to name a few.

It is my honor and privilege to personally thank our friend and writer Mr. Cec Murphey, for mentoring us throughout the years. Cec, you have taught us, loved us, been a “big brother” when we needed a strong arm of encouragement, offered us your resources, and you continue to work harder than ever to inspire writers all over the world with your honesty, humility and talent.

My joy as director of the East Metro Atlanta Christian Writers is to have a front row seat in watching our members grow professionally, and spiritually as God works to complete His purpose for each life. I promise to prayerfully support your ministry and help you in any way I can.
