Leigh Delozier

Leigh DeLozier began working from home as a freelance writer/editor after her son was born in 1999. It wasn’t long before God nudged her toward writing devotionals in her spare time – most of which were based on lessons she learned as a new mom. She wrote lots of devotionals, then began writing Sunday school curriculum for her church and started working on a girls’ Bible study. She never expected to write fiction because she didn’t have a plot – but now God has shared lots of story and character ideas with Leigh so she’s venturing into fiction for women and girls. She knows Who the really creative One is!Some of Leigh’s devotionals have appeared in books or magazines; her own book (Work-from-home Moms’ Devotions to Go) was published in June 2006. She’s currently working on two devotional books for middle/high school girls that will be published in 2007, and has begun a speaking ministry for women and girls. Her goal with speaking is two-fold: to help people slow down and see God around them every day, and to help young girls realize what treasures they are.
